Locals consider April one of the most enjoyable seasons in Paris. It’s already quite warm, but there are still not so many tourists as in the summer. So, you can peacefully parade the streets, admire the scenery, enjoy a cup of flavored coffee sitting on the veranda in a cozy cafe, and bask in the spring sun.
The most wonderful thing about this time is the awakening of nature. Paris is beginning to bloom. This starts with the first blooming cherry trees in the early March, then continues with beautiful magnolias in the middle of March, and ends in the middle of April when you can observe the apogee of this floral performance - Sakura coming to life. Spring in Paris is an incredibly atmospheric and romantic event, which people from all over the world want to participate in. Parisians and guests of the capital do not get tired of thanking the Japanese for presenting the world with the cherry blossoms rejoicing. The French people have quickly adopted the idea of making a cult from this ordinary, in general, phenomenon, and soon Paris got another reason for admiration and inspiration.
All of us require inspiration: creative workers, friendly companies, those who are in search of a soulmate, and, even, entrepreneurs. Diana Dzhalalova, my regular client, the host of the “One Day in the City” program on the My Planet TV channel, a blogger, a model belonging to the top 100 most beautiful girls in Russia according to “Maxim” magazine, came to Paris in April to get creative inspiration. As the author and coach of master classes for women on the topic of gaining confidence and harmony, happy relationships, flirting and fashion, she, as a professional, could not but appreciate the charm of the French capital. To share this unsurpassed beauty with her audience, we organized a street style photo shoot in Paris in April, however, one year ago.
We started this fascinating individual photo session from the main point of the city. It is here that the trees open the flowering season, delighting passers-by and visitors of observation desk from the beginning to mid-March. Of course, I'm talking about a photo shoot at the Eiffel Tower. For this location, Diana created a bright and flirty image: a scarlet-colored skirt-trousers and a black and white striped blouse. The Eiffel Tower with all its appearance provided a melancholic and serene feeling, but the picture became more delightful when we went to the lawns with yellow blooming tulips. Diana changed the scarf from black to scarlet as it is impossible to be sad in such a colorful surrounding. For photos near the blossoming sakura, the girl wore a classic narrow pastel gray-blue skirt, almost in tune with the sky.
In such soft tender apparel, Diana appeared as a very romantic and dreamy person.
Nevertheless, the more unusual and bolder images are closer to the girl's liking, since she is a secular and public individual. To realize this, we headed towards Avenue Montaigne, which is called the most fashionable street in Paris. It is interesting to mention that the old name of this street was the Alley of widows; so named because of the unfortunate women who were gathering here several centuries ago. Then it was renamed in honor of the famous French writer Michel Montaigne. In the 80s of the last century, this street became the center of high fashion. Here you can find a vast number of boutiques of the most famous fashion houses. It is Montaigne Avenue where you can get acquainted with the latest collections of the best designers from around the world.
Naturally, for this location, Diana chose classic and elegant outfits: exquisite bottle-colored mini dress, stylish milk-white jacket, and pumps on a stiletto. Looking at Diana in this role, I remembered the words of Coco Chanel: “Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman.” Walking along Montaigne Avenue and changing the style of clothing several times, we took a series of stunning frames.
The main part of the photo shoot, because of which Diana arrived in Paris in April, was Parc de Sceaux with cherry blossoms. This is one of the most beautiful and unforgettable places in Paris, which you’ll definitely fall in love with, immediately and forever. The pinnacle of mastery of park art has been maintained here for more than six centuries, and even Versailles has been placed on the back burner. There is something genuine and mysterious in this area, created by nature itself. Here, you can find peace and tranquility, you can make a declaration of love in a secluded corner, or you can take a number of fantastic photos. Parc de Sceaux can’t leave anyone indifferent. Diana, dressed in a soft pink dress with a pleated skirt, looked like a beautiful sakura flower on the background of flowering trees. We created the feeling of a real fairy tale!
It’s a pity that this blooming period is short-lived and continues until mid-April, but even a couple of weeks is enough to make a gorgeous photo session with Sakura, having received amazing impressions and inspiration for a whole year!
