Claudia, a young traveler from Venezuela, came to the French capital to fulfill the little dream of every girl — to organize an individual photo session in Paris. Although she visited France at the end of autumn, when it’s pretty hard to catch sunny and warm days, on the day of our meeting, the weather presented a nice gift.
In the early November morning, we started a street-style photo session in Paris at one of the most picturesque and attractive places in the city center. The Pont Alexandre III truly amazes with its extraordinary design, and it’s not surprising that tourists always hang out here. The architectural ensemble of the bridge consists of numerous figures of angels, nymphs, and pegasi, striking with their unusual, mystical beauty.
The one-arch bridge of Alexander III impresses with its elegance rather than excessive luxury and pomp. The same refined and daring outfit Claudia chose for shooting. Her image embodied the fatal beauty: black velvet overalls with a deep neckline, fishnet tights, and red ankle boots, highlighting the monotonous outfit. Since it was cold enough, she harmoniously complemented the attire with a dark gray cardigan and a stylish cap with a cockade. Claudia masterfully decorated the basic wardrobe, by adding a golden strap. In the makeup, girl emphasized lips with a coral lipstick, which in total looked extremely bright and spectacular.
We took a lot of vivid and lively photos on the bridge and then went to the Place de la Concorde, which is not randomly called the heart of the capital. It is located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, in a fantastic location next to other attractions: it opens a magnificent view of the Egyptian obelisk, the Eiffel Tower, the Seine, the National Assembly, the Madeleine Church, and the famous Avenue des Champs-Élysées. During the Great French Revolution of 1789-1799, this square was an abysmal place, with a huge guillotine installed on the site of the King statue. Queen Marie-Antoinette, King Louis XVI, such revolutionaries as Robespierre and Danton, and over 1300 other people were executed there. When this dark period came to an end, city authorities established the Old North Bridge across the Seine River, which leads directly to the National Assembly building. Here, we also took a series of elegant and stylish photos, with amazing, beautiful urban landscapes on the background.
The final location of our photo shoot was another grand construction, a real work of art — the Palais Garnier, which is one of the most famous and significant theaters of opera and ballet in the world. This building is considered the benchmark of eclectic architecture in the Beaux-Arts style and refers to the era of substantial transformations of the city, conducted by Emperor Napoléon III and his prefect of the Seine, Georges-Eugène Haussmann. We decided that a fashion photo session in Paris would not be complete without a visit to this legendary theater with such a rich and exciting history. In front of the Palais Garnier, Claudia looked so natural and harmonious, as if the theater architects themselves planned her presence there.
Every time I visit the fascinating masterpieces of the city just like first-ever, finally receiving a dose of aesthetic pleasure and creative inspiration, and next to such a bright model like Claudia, all my positive emotions and experience were doubled.
